Milk

I recently saw the movie Milk and while I went into the experience with mixed expectations I came out totally blown away. The actor and script throughout the movie is really well done. Although the movie is a little on the long side it does not feel that way and Sean Penn's portrayal of Harvy Milk is spot on. And while Josh Brolin also delivers a thoroughly creepy portrayal of Milk's assasin it is James Franco's portrayal of Milk's long time boyfriend who is my favorite. The movie is filled with colorful characters and tells a profound story in our nations history. I would definately recommend this film.
