I like ABBA. I have always enjoyed their music. So I went into this with an open mind. "Mamma Mia!" is the story of a girl trying to find her father on her wedding day. She has three choices and all of them come to her wedding. Let the hijinxs begin. Sort of. I never really figured out if this musical's conflict was the wedding, the lack of a father, or the inability of half the cast to sing. I didn't hate it. I didn't like it. Check it out if you a.) like ABBA b.) like seeing Pierce Brosnan in disco clothes c.) really love musicals. Otherwise, don't bother.
